Holy Show

Holy Show first introduced their unique aural landscape to the Irish scene in early 2025, making plenty of noise as they did so. The four piece creates their own world of melancholy by combining gritty, hypnotic instrumentals with a haunting voice, delving into topics such as heartbreak, introspective discovery, anger, and uncertainty. Influenced by the likes of Sunny Day Real Estate, Deftones and Basement, with the lyrical and vocal essence of Dolores O’Riordan and Jeff Buckley.

Established by Dunboyne college students Emily Deegan, Cathal Grogan, Alex Dunne and Ben Black during a writing session for what would become their third single ‘Vacancy’. Holy Show have since been making a name for themselves in their local scene bringing their animated, atmospheric live shows to renowned venues such as Whelan’s, The Button Factory, The Grand Social and more, reigning in fans from all across Ireland.

Holy Show have released three singles to date. Their most recent release ‘Vacancy’ has been described by GroovyChuck (2025) as “their best song to date and is definitely the most diverse one in terms of showcasing the full array of their talent…it feels both psychedelic and retro, making it stand out from the rest.”
